Automatically linking issues

This guide teaches you how to trigger the issue linking automation set by your administrator.

Steps

1. Go to any Jira issue and click on the comment field.

2. In this example, the administrator has set automatic issue linking for the “Bug” and “Story” issue types.

   

3. Enter a comment mentioning relevant issues. Then, Save the comment.

   

4. Refresh the page. The issues referenced in the comment section are now automatically linked to the mentioned issues.
