While creating a Jira Issue in Salesforce, you may want to have the Issue Type dropdown menu options in a specific order.


This can be done by reordering them in the Issue Type Scheme configuration of your Project. 

  1. Go to JIRA > Projects > your projects > Settings > Issue Type

  2. Then, in the top-right corner, click Actions > Select Edit issue types

Now you can change the order by dragging the issue type in the Issue Types for Current Scheme section.
