Summary

When searching for Showcase/Tabs macro content via the Confluence search bar, the page links with the macro content does not appear in the search results.

Diagnostics Steps

Not applicable.

Cause

Due to changes with Confluence Cloud's search result indexing, the Showcase/Tabs do not get displayed as a search result.

Workaround

Not applicable.

 

Resolution

These steps only apply to the existing Showcase/Tabs macros. For newer creation of Showcase/Tabs macro, the macro content will be automatically indexed in the Confluence search result.

  1. Go to the page with the existing Showcase/Tabs macro.

  2. Click Edit on the page > Click Edit on the Showcase/Tabs macro.

  3. Click Save > Click Publish on the page. 

  4. The Confluence search displays the Showcase/Tabs macro content.
