Adding or removing vault users

You can manage the permissions of the vault by adding or removing vault users. Users who are added to the vault will be able to create secrets.

Note

Even if users have a vault's unique key, they cannot access its secrets unless they are added to a vault. 

Adding a user

  1. On the left sidebar, click Vault.
  2. Scroll down to the Vaults section. Find the vault you'd like to add the user to and click Manage vault.
  3. Click on the user icon and search for the user.
  4. Once done, click Add Permission. You can also select +Invite Person to invite a user to join the vault.

Removing a user

  1. On the left sidebar, click Vault.
  2. Scroll down to the Vaults section. Find the vault you'd like to add the user to and select Manage vault.
  3. Click on the user icon and search for the user.
  4. Once you've selected the user, click Remove Permission.
