Some emojis don't appear when using Live Template
Summary
Some emojis look fine when page is published, but they appear as blue stars when the same page is used in a Live Template macro.

Cause
This is caused by an issue in Confluence which is affecting Scaffolding and a number of other apps.
Workaround
Stop using Confluence editor emojis and use the built-in emojis found in many OSes:
In Windows 10: Use the emoji keyboard - press the Windows logo key + . (period). The emoji keyboard will appear.
In Mac OS: Use the character viewer.
Resolution
Currently tracked by bug CONFCLOUD-69848 by Atlassian. No timeline has been provided for fixing this bug, see further discussion here.
