What permissions does my Salesforce User need in Salesforce?

The Salesforce.com User Profile must have read, edit and create permissions for the relevant object and additionally it requires enabling Visualforce Page Access for the Viewing related Jira Issues.

If the Connector setup is not using the Writing Apex Class to Call for Connector RESTful Webservice, the user must still log in to JIRA to create, synchronize, fetch, associate, or link Salesforce records or objects to JIRA.
