Classic Connector for Salesforce & Jira

Question:

What is a Security Token?

Answer:

A security token is a special case-sensitive alphanumeric code that is added to the end of your password. This combination of password+security token can then be used in the password field when logging in to Salesforce during configuration of application links.

To obtain a security token, log into Salesforce:

  1. From your personal settings, enter "Reset" in the Quick Find box, then select Reset My Security Token.

  2. Click Reset Security Token.

This will send a new security token to your email.
