Monitor proxy metrics and logs
Once calls are made via the proxy, Jira administrators can then monitor proxy metrics by following the steps below:
Navigate to the Jira top menu Settings (⚙️)> Apps > Forge Observability – API Proxy.
Click API Proxy on the left sidebar.
To view insight charts and widgets, navigate to the Dashboard tab.
To view the individual logs for each request, click the Logs tab.
To download records from a time range, click Export as CSV, which creates a CSV format file in the default downloads folder of the browser or in a folder specified by the user.
Export as CSV will only export logs that are visible in the logs table. Only logs within a maximum range of two weeks prior can be retrieved and exported. For continuity of data, users are advised to maintain regular copy of record by exporting the logs as CSV file.
