Configuring the webhook relay

Follow the steps below to configure and monitor the metrics and logs for the webhook relays.

Jira administrators may add one or more webhooks that need to be monitored. These are the prerequisites to successfully monitor a webhook:

• Target webhook URL (https)

• A unique webhook name

• Access Jira global permissions. To understand how to manage Webhooks in your instance, check this link: Manage Webhooks.

1. Navigate to Settings > Apps > Forge Observability - Webhook Relay.

2. Go to the Settings subpage on the left sidebar.

3. Once the target Webhook is added, a new webhook URL will be automatically generated.

4. Using the generated webhook URL, configure a Jira webhook in the instance using the generated webhook URL.
