Question:

Cannot load Picker or Picker is being automatically close on IE and Edge

Answer:

IE and Edge has aggressive caching, and both browsers require low security access for any Google Application to work properly. To do so, go to Internet Options, and make sure the security level is being set to medium low or below:

Then, add Google's wildcard URL to the Trusted Sites list to whitelist the URL:

That said, it is recommended to use a browser which automatically allows Google URL to access with adequate security measures, such as Firefox and Chrome.
